Stu joined Edison Energy in 2016 and has facilitated procurement and operational strategies for some of our largest and most complex natural gas client, the largest of which spends $500M annually.

Stu entered the energy industry as an intern at Sempra Energy Trading in Connecticut in 2005.  After graduating from the University of Kentucky the following year, he returned to Sempra where he sat on the physical gas desk – scheduling, trading and optimizing storage and transportation assets across the Gulf, Midcontinent and Appalachia.  After a brief merger with RBS, Stu left Sempra to assist in the creation of the Natural Gas and Power desk for the Noble Group.  Stu continued to fine tune his expertise in physical gas over the next seven years and spent the last two years of his trading career responsible for the entire Midcontinent gas book for Noble.
