Energy Innovation and Emerging Technologies Professional Certification – Stanford University
“Simply put, energy touches everything. As the energy industry evolves to meet more needs around clean energy and vehicles, sustainability, and affordability – other industries are expanding as well to meet their own needs and goals. The complex problem solving that is required to figure out how to balance all these needs and the impacts of decision making is what makes me love the energy world."

As Director of Business Development, my role at Edison Energy is business development and managing the overall experience and expectations of our customers.
I’ve been in the energy business my entire career. Prior to Edison Energy, I was a 3rd generation journeyman lineman with my family’s business, constructing high voltage powerlines and substations. After graduation, I spent several years purchasing energy for large multi-site national account retailers, which eventually led to my position of being the Sr. Energy Advisor for Fortune 50 company, where I purchased energy, and helped lead the expansion of their national solar footprint. I have spent the majority of my career consulting and advising clients about energy procurement and energy-related services, including some time at Accenture.
Educational Background
B.M.E. – Grove City College

Manager, Content & Communications
My primary responsibilities include leading content development, creating thought leadership pieces with Edison team members and industry experts, and crafting client engagement & communications strategies.
I’ve been an investigative reporter for most of my career, covering New Jersey politics, social justice issues, education, and the environment. I also served as the communications director for an environmental organization in New Jersey. Most recently, I served as a renewable energy reporter covering a lot of the projects and initiatives that encompass Edison’s work. In fact, I DID cover Edison’s work!
I am the recipient of several journalism awards, including from the New Jersey Press Association (NJPA) and the Garden State Journalists Association. I have also been recognized by Montclair University’s Center for Cooperative Media, featured in Politico’s New Jersey Playbook, and have served as a guest lecturer at Rutgers University.
A successful journalist must have exceptional reporting and writing skills, a rapport with people from all walks of life, mega street smarts, superhuman tenacity and VERY thick skin. I’d like to think I’m bringing that to my work here at Edison!
