Thomas Szarawarski, Jr

With over two decades of experience, Mr. Szarawarski has developed an expertise in energy efficiency, conservation, and optimization projects, as well as strategic energy and carbon reduction program assistance. While he has a historically steeped background in mechanical, sustainable and HVAC building systems, Tom serves as an executive technical project integrator, leveraging renewable energy, energy supply procurement strategies, and demand & optimization services to provide the optimal portfolio-based solutions for stand alone, national and enterprise level customers.

Being a licensed Professional Engineer, as well as an AEE Certified Energy Manager and Certified Demand Side Manager, Tom has a problem solving and optimization approach to facility systems. Throughout his tenure, Tom has executed master planning, energy auditing project development, retro-commissioning, commissioning management, monitoring based commissioning, system troubleshooting, design reviews, M&V, test execution and writing, energy management, advanced analytics and fault detection diagnostic services for over 20 million SF of a multitude of facility types spanning across commercial, industrial, institutional market segments.
