Thomas Szarawarski, Jr
Thomas has been highly influential in the industry, contributing over 15 years of experience in managing & conducting energy engineering projects, focused on mechanical and HVAC building systems. As both a licensed engineer and certified energy manager, Mr. Szarawarski employs an optimization and problem-solving approach to facility systems – with expertise in both design and analysis of various building types and major central plant systems. In the past 5 years, Thomas has been personally responsible for the development and completion of energy auditing, modeling, investment grade energy auditing, and retro-commissioning projects for over 10 million SF of laboratory, office space, industrial facilitates, institutional, higher education, multi-residential, and K-12 schools. He has extensive experience executing energy models, most recently, he completed energy models for the Barclays Capital North American HQ, Princeton University’s Datacenter, as well as the Becton Dickenson Campus. Mr. Szarawarski has a tenured background in the design of large energy efficient HVAC systems. He invested ten years in the development of this expertise with hundreds of premiere clients located throughout the United States.
