Emily Williams

Vice President, Strategy and Sustainability

As the Vice President of Strategy and Sustainability for Edison Energy, I work with Edison clients focused on tackling the intersection of energy and sustainability issues in the US and internationally. I help them design roadmaps and develop an understanding of sustainability and has supported the execution of over 3,000 MW of onsite and offsite renewable energy projects across North America and Europe. I am a frequent speaker at industry conferences, as well as a thought leader on effectively using renewable energy as part of a larger GHG reduction strategy.

I previously managed the Renewables Advisory Supply team, which matches renewable energy projects to available buyers based on strict criteria and Edison Energy’s proprietary database. I supported clients with market intelligence and analytical assessments of the renewable energy projects available. Emily also led state and federal policy initiatives, tracking the impact of policy changes on Edison’s customers. I was awarded the WRISE (Women of Renewable Industries and Sustainable Energy) Rising Star Award as well as Renewable Energy World’s Solar 40 Under 40 award.

Prior to this role, I was the Deputy Director, Industry Data and Analysis at the American Wind Energy Association (AWEA).
