Charlotte Wagner

Managing Director, Major Accounts & Standardization

Charlotte is the Managing Director of the West Region, where her primary goal is to spearhead the development and growth of both the team and business in California and the West region at large. The region performs commissioning, retro-commissioning, monitoring-based commissioning, and other energy consulting services.

She has been the Southwest Regional Director, Energy Services, for EnerNOC, Inc. where she provided engineering, commissioning and energy engineering services to institutional, commercial and industrial clients. Ms. Wagner is an experienced Commissioning Authority and engineering professional who has managed and directed numerous energy and commissioning projects since 1991. She oversaw a team of 10 engineers with a regional revenue of over $2.5M. Ms. Wagner is a skilled leader and manager who built the Southern California office of Cogent Energy (acquired by EnerNOC in December, 2009) from the ground up. She did everything from securing new work, forming and enhancing client relationships, hiring and mentoring staff, and managing the office.

Ms. Wagner is experienced in applying a variety of technologies to all types of facility systems including central chilled water and heating plants, chillers, boilers, distribution systems, steam systems, HVAC, lighting, and energy management and control systems. She has served as Commissioning Authority for several projects at University and County buildings. These projects include both retro-commissioning and new building commissioning. As a Project Manager, she has overseen the development and implementation for energy projects for several large customers. She has also been a project controls engineer where she has developed, programmed, and implemented sequences for automatic temperature control systems for commercial buildings. She designed both the hardware and software for these control systems, and provided operator training.
