Charlotte Wagner, Managing Director, recently became the Mentor Program Chair for the Council for Women in Energy and Environmental Leadership (CWEEL). The program is offered through CWEEL’s affiliation with the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE), and supports career development for men and women in the energy efficiency and sustainability industries.
Charlotte helped get the program running in the summer of 2019, and over a short span of 2 months, 4 mentor/mentee pairs were matched. Since then, the program continues to flourish and has seen a high demand for more mentors. A participant in the program herself, Charlotte and her mentee Megan, an Energy Efficiency Engineer at SoCalGas, have had a continuing relationship for the past two years.
