Specialty Construction and Implementation

Strategic project delivery solutions customized to meet the requirements of your project - from traditional systems to highly complex and integrated systems of energy consuming and supplying infrastructure - optimized for long-term life cycle operations.

Reduced Risk: We eliminate all business and technology risk associated with construction and deploying new or retrofitted energy systems.

Quality Assurance: At the core of every project, our team ensures performance integrity is the backbone of our process, value engineered enhanced for long term cost value, while maintaining budget and schedule.

Staff Training & Augmentation: We manage customer operational staffing training for newly installed systems, including classroom training where applicable which involves the review of all pertinent documentation, testing procedures, results of performance tests, checklists, calibration data and operation and maintenance manuals and data. Also included are operation and maintenance instructions and procedures and review of as-built documents for all systems installed. If you do not have enough staff for short-term or long-term projects, Edison can provide technically trained professionals to augment your current staffing levels.

Sector Expertise: Our depth and breadth of expertise extends to commercial, industrial, healthcare and higher education.

Collaboration: As a partner engaged with all stakeholders involved, we ensure project success and long-term, optimized value through not only the construction process, but future operations.

Market Knowledge: Because of our strong leadership, exceptional reputation with architects, engineers and contractors, and our ability to accurately estimate costs, we ensure quality construction at competitive pricing. This includes a refined proficiency in working with many regional and national prime contractor and subcontractor entities.

Start-to-Finish Solutions: All projects are put through a start-up and commissioning process beginning with the pre-design, design and construction phases of projects and involves customer personnel in each step as part of an overall comprehensive training program. The commissioning process with customer participation is the essence of a complete training program for a new system and takes place throughout the construction phase of projects by conducting on-going quality control inspections and Edison and customer witnessing of various pre start-up tests for the installed work.

Entrepreneurial: We offer the creativity and nimbleness of a small firm and the financial stability of a Fortune 500 parent company, with over 130 years of energy innovation.

Integrated Expertise: Over 150 years of collective and individual general contracting and energy engineering expertise having specific experience in the domains of distributed generation and infrastructure including central plants, site utilities, combined heat and power (CHP), HVAC, building controls, and emerging technologies.

Tenured Team: We rely on our personnel’s  decades of construction, engineering, and domain success across all  facility types and projects to ensure system integrity and performance for our clients.

Innovation: Don’t let finances stop you: in the history of our company we have crafted innovative financing platforms such as Power Purchase Agreements and Operating Leases that result in a no out-of-pocket, positive cash flow arrangement for our clients.
