Event Navigation

Meeting the urgent call to mitigate the impacts of climate change: Given the early success with meeting GHG reduction targets by 2025, the University of Chicago has developed more ambitious targets to advance the sustainability of University operations, committing to reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 50% by 2030.
Sharing strategies to help other organizations reduce carbon and save energy, this presentation will deep dive on pathway development as part of the University’s 50 by 30 goal, share best practices and lessons learned, as well as discuss synergies with other key campus initiatives such as the better buildings program.
Held in partnership with the University of Chicago and the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE).
