Commissioning

industrial manager and workers working on planning

Overview

Renovating or building a new facility? Commissioning is the quality assurance process needed to achieve your operating, energy and indoor environmental goals from day one and every day thereafter. Edison Energy® design, construction, testing and training experts work closely with your staff, design and construction teams. Together, they focus on energy reliability for peak performance from the get-go.

Performance. Built in.

Expertise and collaboration ensure quality system performance and energy efficiency for your new-construction or renovation project.

Combined expertise: Our team of engineers, construction professionals, Test, Adjust and Balance technicians and Building Automation System experts integrate and collaborate with your project team. This approach covers all the bases, providing cross-checks and fostering cooperation that enhances long-term success.

Highly trained: We provide a robust training program for the on-site Operations & Maintenance (O&M) team so they can maintain systems at peak performance moving forward and can sustain the results of the commissioning process.

Standardized: From the start of the project, we use both physical and digital binders to document every phase. These include deliverables, milestones and contacts. Progress is tracked, and quality assurance procedures are recorded via a comprehensive sign-off system.

Streamlined: By maintaining our own NEBB/NIST-certified equipment, we are able to verify your systems alongside installing contractors, eliminating the need for subcontractors. That saves you time and effort.

Flexibility: Whether your project is LEED®, non-LEED, or other adhering to other Green Standards, we have the expertise to match the situation.
