Project Spotlight: Famous Art Museum and Educational Center, New York

Project Background

Our Energy Optimization team provided Owner’s Representative services for the installation of a rooftop solar array at a famous art museum and educational center in New York. The system, which is 48 kW DC / 33 kW AC, utilized two SolarEdge inverters and one AC Combiner Panel to distribute the captured energy to the museum’s existing Electrical Distribution System.

Edison Energy provided on-site supervision of the equipment lift to the roof of the museum, progress inspection reports of the rooftop, and electrical interior AC work for the final interconnection of the rooftop solar.

Edison worked with museum staff to ensure the aesthetics of the building were maintained.
