Customer Value

It was Edison Energy’s Team goal to ensure the building’s overall performance was optimized by including energy-efficient design features and directly addressing issues like equipment performance, testing, system integration, building efficiency, reliability, maintainability, and comfort; building staff members were well-trained and possessed the documentation they needed to operate and maintain the buildings’ systems and equipment after turnover; any identified issues were resolved through the commissioning process, not just reported.

In March of 2015, the Horseshoe Casino Baltimore was awarded the President’s Choice Award at the USGBC Maryland Chapter’s 10th Annual Wintergreen Awards for Excellence in Green Building.

The Edison Energy Demand Solutions Team Performed Fundamental Cx on the following systems:

  • HVAC
  • Central Chilled Water
  • Heating Hot Water
  • Domestic Water
  • Building Controls
  • Electrical (emergency generator + fuel oil pumps)
  • And Cx for the backup generator and CHP system
