On the Job Safety with EE: Hands-On Electrical Safety Training

Edison’s Energy Optimization team dove into a thorough, hands-on electrical safety training session where field employees geared up with PPE, tools, and arc flash suits. The sessions are part classroom, part hands-on. We at Edison Energy feel that training employees to work safely around electrical hazards is a critical requirement for maintaining worker safety. Electricity and arc flash can present workplace hazards that can result in serious injuries and even fatalities if workers are not properly trained.

Richard B. Bernhardt, PE of John-Winston Engineers & Consultants was our trainer for the session. Rich has over 35 years of diverse technical consulting experience delivering engineering and commissioning services for government authorities, large industrial utilities, including substation design, and peer review of control and protection systems.
