Vice President, Controller, and Treasurer
Mark Clarke is the vice president, controller and treasurer of Edison Energy. He is responsible for financial management of Edison Energy, including accounting, cash management, financial planning, transaction processing, internal controls, and technical support.
Prior to his current role, Mark was vice president and controller of Edison International. He was responsible for corporate financial accounting and reporting, SEC compliance, internal controls and technical accounting matters.
Previously, Mark was vice president and controller for Edison Mission Group (EMG) where he was responsible for supervising the corporate accounting function, including maintaining an effective system of internal accounting controls and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. His responsibilities included managing internal and SEC reporting, property accounting, general ledger and accounts payable. Mark joined EMG as assistant controller in 1999.
Prior to joining EMG, Mark worked at Entergy Corporation. He was also at The Cerplex Group where he served as vice president and corporate controller. Mark also held several executive positions at Holmes & Narver and at Hadson Power Systems.
Mark received his bachelor of arts degree from California State University, Fullerton.
