Comprehensive. Experienced.

Our experts help you navigate the most complex sustainability-related issues to achieve your goals.

Edison Energy’s experienced team helps you survey and understand the broad landscape of stakeholder expectations, sustainability programs, indexes, policies, and norms, as well as the impacts from, and performance of, your organization. We offer a range of services to help your organization hit its sustainability stride and achieve leadership status.

Comprehensive view: Our team provides insight across the wide spectrum of economic, environmental, social and governance issues, and identifies the steps you need to take for success. No matter where you are on your journey — from just starting out to considering leading-edge initiatives — we have the comprehensive knowledge, capabilities, and experience to align your organization with best practices.

Up-to-date information: Understanding evolving policy, voluntary standards, guidance, norms, and expectations in North America and across the globe is essential for leading organizations. As the landscape constantly evolves, we provide timely updates on issues affecting your business and sector.

Long-term partnership: From an initial sustainability landscape briefing to the identification of material issues, through measurement, management, and reporting, we serve as a trusted partner throughout the process, helping to reduce risk and create value.

Leadership: True leadership comes from meeting or exceeding stakeholder expectations — outdistancing your competitors and others in the arenas of public opinion, brand value, and recruitment and retention of employee talent. We ensure that you understand what it takes to be a leader, and we chart a clear path for you to get there.

Risk mitigation: Governments, NGOs, and other stakeholders increasingly publicize and rate sustainability governance and economic, environmental, and social performance of companies. We help you take reasonable steps to assess and address sustainability-related risk, avoiding potential damage to your brand value.

Value creation: Infusing your core business strategy with actions that address pressing global issues can help identify new sources of competitive advantage. Our services ensure that your organization has what it needs to capture this value.

What Makes Us Different?

Knowledge and experience: Our team has both the insight and technical skills to help you mitigate risk and realize opportunity inherent in sustainability. Years of experience in corporate sustainability — across every major economic sector — gives us an unparalleled ability to make informed decisions that are right for your organization.

Strategic approach: We align your business and sustainability strategies to ensure that your efforts are not just bolted-on, but rather are integrated, to offer increasing value across your organization.

Outstanding network: We understand that expectations are set for your organization by a broad and diverse group of stakeholders — sometimes with competing objectives. Our network of contacts and former colleagues stretches across NGOs, industry associations, regulatory bodies, investors and other groups. Having direct conversations with those who continue to refine and raise the bar for sustainability performance can be helpful in clarifying grey areas of practice.
