SoCore Energy celebrates the completion of a vast solar array at FedEx Ground facility
SoCore Energy, a wholly owned subsidiary of Edison International (NYSE: EIX), one of the nation’s largest utility holding companies, has completed its largest commercial rooftop installation at the FedEx Ground hub in Hagerstown, Maryland. The 2.7 megawatt (MW) system features more than 8,000 solar panels and produces enough solar power to prevent over 5 million pounds of carbon dioxide from traditional electricity generation sources from entering the environment annually.
